| Development of WorkLight applications is performed in the WorkLight Studio. The WorkLight Studio is an Eclipse-based IDE that includes a special plug-in for automating application development tasks. Development is done using the familiar web technologies HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, also supporting the latest HTML5 and CSS3 standards. |
 |
| The WorkLight Mobile Platform does not limit development process to coding in web technologies. iPhone developers can choose to program parts or even all of their application in Objective-C. They can either complement WorkLight's iPhone run-time environment with their own code, for example, to access a special device feature or perform custom logic, or completely replace WorkLight's iPhone run-time environment and write the entire application in Objective-C. |
